Cabin air filter airflow direction nissan.
The original nissan filter did not have a directional indication.
I have 12k miles on it.
Ok here is a stupid question and yes i know this is only 1 wrench if that.
The air filters have an arrow on them showing the air direction.
However i was outside replacing my cabin air filter today and when i opened it up it was really dirty and had a crap load of debrees in there.
You need to change it at least once a year or every 20 000 miles.
Some lower end models have better airflow because they don t filter as well but you can find specially designed filters with a greater airflow that still do a good job of removing unwanted.
You need to change it at least once a year or every 20 000 miles whichever comes first.

Is that i purchased a filter yesterday and it had an arrow that said to insert it with the arrow pointing in the direction of air flow.
The directions said have the arrows point down.
Reattach the cabin air filter cover.
When i took my 2 dirty filters out the arrows were pointing up.
The thing that i have is which way is the direction of the air flow or should the arrow point.

I think i switched them and put them facing down according to the documentation that came with the filters.
Ideally you want a cabin air filter that can remove the greatest amount of particulates and odors from the air with the least loss of airflow.
Reattach the glove box assembly.
Should it point down like in the picture below which is what i got from the diy b6.
Replacing the cabin air filter also know as the dust filter hvac filter pollen filter air conditioner filter and hepa filter.
